Upon visiting with the owners and determining the exact style that appealed to them, Mike Holcomb
designed two porches with inlaid wood bordered by brick and stone. The porches lead from the
house onto the patio he designed with flagstone. The focal point of this upscale patio is the 8-foot
tall fireplace with a ledge in front extending over a compartment below to store firewood, and an
enclosure on the side for a grill.

This Spanish hacienda style home in a near northwest neighborhood of Houston was enhanced with a
